HOW TO BOOK
The Festival will be held at Event Cinemas Bondi Junction (formally Greater Union Bondi Junction Cinemas), located on Levels 6, 7 & 8, 500 Oxford Street, Westfield Bondi Junction.
The Festival Ticket Office is located on Level 7. All Festival sessions will be held in Vmax Cinema 2 (formally Cinema 2). Access to the auditorium will be from Level 7.
Patrons are strongly advised to book early to avoid possible disappointment as Vmax Cinema 2 has been refurbished and has a smaller seating capacity.

Credit-card, telephone, and internet bookings for all Sydney Festival sessions will commence at 9.30 am on Wednesday 21 October, and in the case of telephone bookings will continue between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm (Monday to Friday) on each weekday, and between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm on Saturdays thereafter.
Internet bookings can be made at any time (i.e., 24 hours a day and seven days per week), but should be booked in good time before the day of the first selected session.
A booking fee of $1.30 (incl. GST) per ticket, plus a handling and postage charge of $3.50 (incl. GST), or an express-post charge of $5.00 (incl. GST), per telephone and/or internet transaction will apply.
Only Visa and Mastercard credit cards are valid for telephone and internet bookings.
All telephone and internet credit-card ticket bookings will be forwarded to Festival-goers by post. If time does not permit postage, arrangements will be made for patrons to collect their tickets at the Festival Ticket Office on Level 7 at Event Cinemas Bondi Junction.

Advance ticket sales for all Festival sessions will commence at 1.00 pm on Monday 9 November and will continue at the cinema on each day of the week thereafter, excluding all Fridays, from 1.00 pm until 6.00 pm on days when there are no Festival screenings, and from 1.00 pm to 30 minutes after the start of the last Festival screening on other days, until Sunday 15 November (inclusive).
From Monday 16 November (inclusive), Festival Ticket Office hours will be 5.00 pm until 30 minutes after the start of the last Festival screening on Mondays to Thursdays, and from 2.00 pm to 30 minutes after the start of the last screening on Saturdays and Sundays. There will be no Festival ticket sales on Fridays.
The Festival Ticket Office is located on Level 7. All Festival sessions will be held in Vmax Cinema 2. Access to the auditorium will be from Level 7.
Car Parking
Free parking is available subject to the validation of your car park ticket at the cinema. Please check with cinema staff for more details. Three-hours free parking applies if you arrive at the cinema before 6.00 pm; and free parking applies (without validation) if you arrive at the cinema after 6.00 pm. The best car park for the cinema is off Hollywood Avenue; take the express ramp to upper parking levels, park your car and walk across the footway to Level 6.
Please Note:
Festival-goers are advised to arrive in good time for Festival screenings if they wish to purchase or collect their Festival tickets on the day.
All Festival tickets, once purchased, are not refundable and cannot be exchanged.
Please do not bring large bags, briefcases, laptops, backpacks, shopping bags, etc., with you as these cannot be stored at the cinemas.
Patrons who wish to purchase their Festival tickets at the cinema are encouraged to complete a Festival Booking Form for multiple ticket purchases, including Gold Passes. Download booking form.
Queries (if any) about Festival tickets and credit card transactions should be directed to the cinema or to the phone-booking agency, as the case may be, through which the tickets were originally purchased.
Dates, times and programmes are correct at the time of publication, but they may need to be altered because of circumstances beyond our control. We therefore reluctantly reserve the right to withdraw, change and replace programmes without prior notice.
